About Soormiyun

A women-led cultural and development organization in Islamabad working at the meeting point of culture, gender equality and climate action.

Our approach

We believe lasting climate action needs trust, and trust grows from culture and community. We celebrate Pakistan's cultural identity, challenge the norms that hold women back, and support practical climate projects.

  • Capacity building and leadership training
  • Advocacy for gender-inclusive climate policy
  • Sustainable livelihood and eco-friendly initiatives
  • Community engagement and intercultural dialogue
